Your Crowded Closet

Your Crowded Closet

Space between garments is key for a well-kept, long-lasting wardrobe. It allows airflow, preventing wrinkles and damage to your clothes. I recommend rotating a Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter wardrobe twice a year to avoid overcrowding—this applies even to larger closets.

Airing out clothes is a simple habit with big benefits. Breathing space helps remove odors from sweat, body oils, and pollutants, without relying on chemical fabric fresheners. Fresh air also helps maintain fabric integrity, preserving elasticity, color, and shape—especially for delicate materials like wool and silk. It’s also a good practice to hang just worn clothes in a designated spot to keep from putting a garment back into the mix without checking it for stains or soiling, it will keep you from having an unexpected surprise the next time you want to wear it.

Airing out your clothes is an easy way to extend their life, reduce wear and tear, and keep them in top condition. A small effort for big rewards!

It’s spring, a closet session can be just the solution to deal with your crowded closet. We can flip the season and address the state of your wardrobe, not to mention have some fun doing it.

Here's to living your life with Style!

"I can't live without Judy. She is a fabulous fashion consultant as well as the most organized person I know!!
I'm busy and  my closet is out of control! She arrives and within a couple of hours I'm happy again with a well organized closet, more outfits, and having fun. Did I mention she's a riot? Just simply cannot live without her!!!"
